What this site collects, and what happens to it.

What we collect, and when

The assessment request form on the contact page asks for: the city the property is in; a description of what is bothering you; optional photos; your name; and a phone number or an email address (one of the two is required so we can reply). Nothing else on the form is collected, and we do not ask for the property address until we speak with you.

Photos you attach may carry metadata from your camera, including the location where they were taken. We use the photos to prepare for the assessment and do not publish them.

When you call or text (916) 626-2115, or email us, we receive whatever you send and the number or address you sent it from.

Site usage. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (the page requested, the time, the IP address, the browser type). We also measure page views, the clicks on our phone, text and quote buttons, and the fact that an assessment request was sent, with the analytics described below. We do not sell, rent or trade any of this.

Why we collect it

To schedule and carry out the free assessment you asked for, write your report and quote, answer your questions, and follow up on the work. That is the only reason the form exists. We do not use the form to build a marketing list.

Who processes it

• Resend delivers the form as an email to our business mailbox and sends you the acknowledgment email. The message, including any photos, passes through Resend’s servers to do that.
• Vercel hosts this website and keeps the server logs described above. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and button clicks without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
• Google Analytics 4 is used only when it has been configured for this site. Where it is, it sets its own cookies to measure visits and the same button clicks; we keep Google’s advertising features (Google Signals) switched off.
• Google Workspace / Gmail holds our business mailbox, where your request and our reply live.

Each of those companies processes the information on our behalf and under its own privacy terms. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Your request, our report and our correspondence stay in our business mailbox and job records for as long as we are working with you and for the period afterwards that our business and tax records require. This website itself keeps no database of customers: the form is delivered by email and nothing is stored on the site. Server logs and analytics are retained by Vercel and Google according to their own schedules.

Text messages

If you give us a mobile number, we may text you one-to-one about your assessment or your job, and after a completed job we may send one message asking you to leave a review. These are individual messages from us, not automated marketing. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts; message and data rates from your carrier may apply. We never pay for, condition or filter reviews.

Seeing, correcting or removing your information

Email summitexteriorsca@gmail.com and tell us what you would like to see, change or have deleted. We will confirm what we hold and act on the request, keeping only what our records obligations require. We respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals in the only way this site can: it sets no tracking cookies of its own, and Vercel Web Analytics uses none. Google Analytics, where it is enabled, sets its own cookies and does not act on that signal.

Changes to this policy

When the facts change — a new processor, a new field on the form — this page changes with them and the effective date at the top is updated. We do not notify individually; this page is the record.
